About Me

Welcome to my website! My name is Ryan Harder, and this is a little history about me, and my background. I started off as a Soldier in the US Army as a Bradley Fighting Vehicle mechanic, once back in the civilian world, I continued as a heavy-duty mechanic for many years until I made a career change and went to school for Information Technology and security.

Roughly 10 years ago I graduated with a bachelor's degree and started working as a remote support engineer for a Managed Service Provider. During the Covid lockdown I decided that since the time would pass anyways, I might as well get my master's degree. I graduated with both a graduate certificate in cybersecurity, and a master's in information systems (cybersecurity track).

I enjoyed the infosec and cybersecurity world so much that I obtained my CompTIA Security+ Certificate. I have since been working on additional training on the TryHackMe site, reading books on cybersecurity, and attended my first Cybersecurity and hacking conference.

As a lifelong learner, I will continue to study new things and add to my skillset. I am hoping that sharing my journey in this blog can help share ideas and inspire others along their own trek into infosec.
